I hope the NCAA is happy with their decision to open up this Pandora's box. I used to prefer college sports over the pros, but that has come to a screeching halt for me. "Who is our QB? Who the !@#$ knows?"

The NCAA is powerless now. They screwed up by not getting out in front of NIL. The portal and NIL are pretty much going to kill off the NCAA.

I’ve watched a few ncaa basketball games and it seems every player they talk about is a transfer from somewhere else

It’s a disaster, the Nebraska coach saying a QB cost 1.2mm or more is stupid. Death blow to college sports.

Do cheerleaders get to do this? Maybe Sara gets tired of being on the bottom of the pyramid and wants to go to school where she isn’t the fat chick and gets to be on top?

Look where it all started and the timing…..Everyone was so focused on a pandemic that this issue went to the back burner in a hurry…..Remember all the effort into scheduling and Football seasons in the spring?

Be thankful; 99% of these young men won’t make an NFL roster and the few who do will average a three year career. They deserve everything they get and more. A million or two for a QB who could get you into a New Year’s Day bowl game is peanuts.

Transfer portal should be managed by ncaa. One and done!!!
Aggies need to pay their players money promised!!!! Maybe they’ll stop entering the portal then,,,,,

Well, the nails are in the coffin who knows when the last one is flush but it's getting close. How long do they let this go on, hopefully sooner rather than later. This is not good for sports, hell guess it started really when they let mentally ill males identify as females. It's like they don't care and wanna kill sports. It craziness.

I actually like the portal.
Helps kids find playing time that they can't get where they are. Frees up scholarships from kids that aren't going to play much.
Overall I think it works well, but it does hurt schools that are undergoing coaching changes.

NIL being legal is the stupidest thing that has ever happened to college football. The kids are there to get an education and to assist in getting their foot in any door they pursue for their working career. Just because they are a gifted athlete doesn't mean they should be paid to play sports. That should stay at the professional sports level. They are not professionals yet and shouldn't be paid to perform. If you choose to play sports in college, that's your prerogative. Better keep your grades up, though, or you'll be put on probation or even suspension. Not anymore. Get Tammy tutor to help you if your grades slip. She may even give the happy ending after studies. The deepest pockets get the best recruits. Which university has the deepest pockets? I hate it but these things will never go away now.
