I have recently started fishing new lakes here in Texas and I am constantly worried about hitting trees/submerged dangers. What do you all think about all of us banding together and creating a “safe to run trails” card that gives safe running trails? I’m not talking about trails that go to honey holes but at least ones that allow anglers (high schoolers) to safely make runs on lakes they’ve never been on. I’m not sure how we would collect all of them but I know that I could share a couple that I have created for Ray Roberts, Fork and Ray Hubbard.
Thoughts?

Its called fishing and not catching for a reason.
It's a good idea. I actually bought one of the paper maps for conroe and was going to create the lane waypoints in a file to share here because there aren't any available but never got around to it

There are lanes for Lake Conroe. Google "Tom Mayne Guide Lanes" and you will find them.
Lance Vick's Boatlanes has 4 lakes: Fork, Sam Rayburn, Toledo Bend & Lake o the Pines. https://www.boatlanes.com
Tom Mayne's Guidelanes has 8 lakes: Palestine, Tawakoni, Martin Creek, Bob Sandlin, Conroe, Richland Chambers, Ray Roberts & Caddo. https://www.tommayneguidelanes.com/
