Same. It's hunting season. Ain't no bass out there that I'm mad enough at to sit out there jigging in 30ft of water catching a cold

Go to Palestine, Cedar Creek or Tawakoni and pitch a 2/2oz jig on the shallow docks and hold on.

I love fishing in the winter. My biggest fish of the year come in the winter months. No you donโ€™t catch as many but the ones you do are normally good ones.

FIshed Fork in the winter with 3 inch chartreuse grub on about a 1/4 ounce florescent red jig head in 20 plus feet of water, bouncing it off the bottom. North or south wind fishing outside the boat lanes just drifting and would get bit. Wasn't much fun, the fish were so lethargic it was like reeling up a piece of driftwood.

I have heard Palestine is good during the winter but do you have to go up North?
