I have two girls playing soccer on multiple teams and help coach one of the teams so it has been crazy busy for me! Trying to get out and fish more, Josh, Steve and Ed are all crushing fish right now so have been missing out! You will flat line the curve in no time.

Do you guys drift or spot lock for deadsticking? In my experiences, it seems a slow drift is best. If I spot lock, I will typically pitch out and let the bait slowly drift back to the boat. I did this last Friday on a ledge, and while the fish were finicky, I was still able to get bites. I was using a thumper also.

We always drift. Make sure you get yourself a couple of good drift socks so you can really control your speed.

I am with you on this! My daughters are on soccer teams as well. It's every weekend Oct-Nov. The weekends are back open, but I need a new impeller on my 150. It's always something with a boat. Looking forward to some deadsticking this year. I got my driftsocks ready!
You ain’t gonna catch any sittin’ on the couch.

Do you guys drift or spot lock for deadsticking? . We normally drift around .07 mph. Use the trolling motor if the wind is too slow or socks if it’s too fast!
