You may reach out to Hank Harrison. Fishing guide at Sam Rayburn and emc for the Brandon belt tournaments. I believe he has done a youtube video recently with the rep. I had him tune my electronics recently and he was telling me about it.

I heard that you could have Lowrance and Garmin running on the same screen. Is that true?

Second video is way more informative, https://youtu.be/Gd7rgcWocho?si=8dNvVM8aO_F8ltih the ability to repair a broken screen where the major sonar companies cannot almost sounds too good to be true but who knows. If the kids is a legit wiz one of the other sonar companies need to snatch him up asap.

The one I used had a noticeable lag and boxy resolution… screen brightnes and glare….. Not sure what version they are on now (the one I played with was an early one) but it was not something I’d ever use.

I got a 16” unit and hooked it to an 8612xsv for livescope and love it. It’s the same quality I’ve always had from previously using 1243xsv units.

If these things are as advertised (and I don't know that they are), they will have a hard time keeping them in stock.

No reason they can’t send the video signal to just about any screen. Hardest thing would be getting one that can take the beating on the front deck. https://nbtmarine.com/22” plug and play is $6,799. Draws 4.2 amp on 12 vdc. Plenty of large units in the saltwater industry. The average $1MM plus 42 ft Freeman has two if not three. 22” Garmin is $12k or so. Last time we were in Venice I saw a 22” Garmin on a 22 ft bay boat with radar. Radar in Venice is needed in Spring. Fog can be horrendous.
