My sons >and I are trying to plan a camping /fishing trip to Colorado Bend State Park this spring. Can anyone give us advice on approximately when we would have our best chance of getting in on the sandbass run during this trip? Thanks in advance for any help

Unless we get some much needed rain there wonโt be a sand bass run.

If Colorado Bend does not work, you can always hit up another spot like the Brazos...or Sabine...or numerous other rivers.

But to answer your question March and April are best months . Sometimes late Feb.
