I see a few R.I. Vixen's out there and they appear to be a second run. Are they as good as the first run? Teckle Kicknocker is the new version of the Vixen and the price is a little lower. Do any of you throw these? What is your take on the Kicknocker and the Vixen? Pro's and con's.

I've caught fish on both, throw Bone Vixen and Black Nicknocker. If you want to try something different walking bait, shower blow has walking bait out that i really like. can cast it very accurate where the vixen will drift

The original has a different sound--put a new in one hand and an original in the other and shake them.
IMO the original catches more fish.

I've got a bunch of the original run and both runs since. I don't notice much difference at all. Supposedly according to the owner of Teckel he had a hand in the original version plus the Squeaky Dolphin and the Swamp Donkey.
At one point the Paycheck Repo Man was being made as well and was very similar.

What are the newest run blackout limited edition worth now?

I have all three versions, the original, 2nd run and the last run. Zero difference in how they sound and work in my opinion. The teckel kicknocker pup is as close to the original vixen barely legal as you’ll find, sound is very close but not exact on those.

I have a couple of the originals. It’s hard to tell the difference between them and Xcite baits heckler.
