Got the quote from Johnson’s Fiberglass here in Dallas. I will send to your phone. To repair the area of fiberglass would be 2400 Pretty quick turn around if I do it before 4th of July. I personally wouldn’t repair it. Since it’s toward the back and because of the paint scheme it doesn’t stand out. I just zoomed in to show the photos so it would be fully disclosed upfront before anyone comes to look at it.

There's a general rule among body shop men that if you can pour water over a scratch and it disappears it can be buffed out. I don't know if this would apply to gel coat but the guys on the Bass Boat Central restoration forum could probably tell you and tell you exactly how to do it and make it come out flawless.
