Willis hasn't played anyone all season that was able to match the athletes they have.
I think Desoto has the athletes to run with the Willis wr's. Willis played in a very
weak district and hasn't played anyone in the playoff either till this week.
I maybe under estimating Willis but I think Desoto wins by 2 td's

It's definitely should be a high scoring game. Willis has a sophomore wide receiver that is going to be hard to stop but Willis's offensive and defensive lines are pretty small compared to Desoto's.

It's definitely should be a high scoring game. Willis has a sophomore wide receiver that is going to be hard to stop but Willis's offensive and defensive lines are pretty small compared to Desoto's. You must be talking about J. Bishop, yea that kid is a he77 of an athlete he'll probably be the #1 DB prospect in the state for 2026(I think is the yr he graduates). We know all those kids there my son use to play there until we moved 2 yrs ago, some of them come up and fish several times a yr. Good kids

Now residing here in Willis, I'd love to see them take it. Unfortunately, I just don't see it happening.

I saw a Bishop and a Lagway mentioned. I coached against Derek Lagway that went to Baylor I believe. He was the RB and Michael Bishop was the QB and went to K State I believe. Are these two young men the children of the guys I’m talking about? If so their dads were “DAWGS”. But I’ll still take Desoto by 24.

The Lagways are father/son dad played at BU and son is committed to Florida. The Bishops are relatives but not father son. Michael Bishop is my son's HS HC at Legacy SSS, very good guy.

Class 5A Div II matchup my #3 ranked Port Neches-Groves Indians vs #1 ranked Montgomery Lake Creek. Never heard of them and obviously a new HS in the ever expanding Htown metro area.
Advice? Wise men don't need it. Fools won't heed it.
