Everything I've heard Humminbird is the worst FFS, Garmin the best but just by a hair over Lowrance. +1 Humminbirds 360 imaging is awesome. I have the Lowrance FFS and the Humminbird 360. I like the combo.

Humminbird hands down best electronics out there. I have 3 Apex 19s, a 360 and 2 Megalive transducers as well as directional GPS antennas.
I weighed in 9.67 lbs at my club tourney last weekend, well worth every penny.

What % of small time trail and touny guys use FFS?
Im doing this for the first time next year - will i be the only fool without FFS? Yes you need the following: 21’ boat with twin poles, 250hp and more screens than Space Center Houston. Jacked up 3/4 ton crew cab diesel complete with camper shell- any less of a truck will just get dragged into the water. Don’t forget your jersey! Don’t forget the $900 Simms rain suit, matching pfd, 4ft decal on the back window of the truck, and costa sunglasses.
Eat. Sleep. Fish.

I heard FFS killed all the grass on Fork. I heard it is what really killed JFK. And Jeffrey Epstein…

Seriously... What do you need, bare minimum, (which unit and transduce) to put FFS on your boat???... Unit, transducer and... I've never watched a video or demonstration of how it works, how it's done... Nothing... Dan

I don’t have FFS I watch the guys who do. Staring at the graph while throwing to what they are looking at. I don’t know.. I have the Mega 360. I see every stump and lay down 100’ from the boat. I share the image to the rear graph so the guy in the back sees the cover too. I glance at the screen and then cast for a while. Then check the graph for new cover. I don’t think I would like just casting to an image that I see on a screen. Who knows. I think we just have to decide what we enjoy about fishing and pick the tools that enhance that. But I’m fishing for fun… I’m not chasing that big 125.00 pay out on Saturday morning. I’m after that big one in a picture, or a few of those golden fried fillets when I feel like keeping a couple.

GLS10 black box LVS32 or LVS34 transducer Garmin EchoMap or UHD depthfinder. Thanks Mark... Prices from BPS, because they have all of them listed online in one easy place... GLS10 black box - $499.99 LVS32 - $999.97 Garmin EchoMap - $699.97 So for a mere $2,197.91 ($2,399.95 if you go with the LVS34) before taxes I'm all geared up and ready to load the livewells???... And that's not a criticism or smart remark. It is what it is... Is that the setup you have on your boat???... Dan
