Any debate out there on which manufacture produces the best unit?

Humminbird hands down best electronics out there. I have 3 Apex 19s, a 360 and 2 Megalive transducers as well as directional GPS antennas.

I weighed in 9.67 lbs at my club tourney last weekend, well worth every penny.

I have a Lowrance with an HDS 12. The newest Garmin has a better picture if you get an equivalent unit. I’m running three HDS’s and just prefer Lowrance. I don’t feel like I am at any disadvantage. The target separation is very good on the Lowrance.

For FFS? I don't think anyone things Humminbird makes a truly competitive FFS.

Lowrance and Garmin are pretty close, some of the best scopers use either one.

Yes you need the following:
21’ boat with twin poles, 250hp and more screens than Space Center Houston.
Jacked up 3/4 ton crew cab diesel complete with camper shell- any less of a truck will just get dragged into the water.
Don’t forget your jersey!

Everything I've heard Humminbird is the worst FFS, Garmin the best but just by a hair over Lowrance.
