I have a 1222 with the 32 transducer. My refresh rate got jumpy and then I see a curved line at about 20 feet out. I turned off and back on and now I have no readings or static on upper 2 quadrants and now range wa 12 feet even when set on longer distances. It’s the lower beam only it looks like. Turned off. Factory reset and now a zig zag of static top to bottom. Green flash on black box as usual. Maps are fine and smooth refresh. Help

Do you have the new style with a single cable coming out of the transducer or the older style with 2 cables. Older style is prone to having wires break internally. Garmin used to replace them for free but not so sure now as its been a few years.

Doesn’t need physical damage. There’s 28ga wire in there that breaks over time from minimal movement, ask me how I know.

Oh wow. And they want 310$ plus tax to trade for a new one. Bad design flaw.

Considering it’s out of warranty and used ones bring more than that it’s not too bad of a deal.

Agree! Should I add that money to a big chunk and get the 34?
