Howdy everyone. I'd like to convert my foot-control to a hand tiller control for my bow-mounted trolling motor. Is there any way to do this economically? I have an older "Tracker" 43 lb' thrust "Motor G uide" motor. Having the foot control is nice when you need both hands and to conrol the boat, but I only use the motor for ocassional bursts and drift most of the time. And I like to stand a fair amount when I fish. The foot control is more of a hassle. There seems to be some sort of a plug at the back of the motor that might be removable, I didn't try. Maybe some sort of a hand control could be hooked up there?

Thanks

It's possible if you have some fabrication skills but the electrical would be hard to do as the switches are all different. I would post an add in the classified section to to trade. I just did it for a hand control to foot and it worked out great for me.
