I'm thinking of building a boat storage. It would be close to a fresh water lake. My question is "Would you keep your boat in a storage facility that did not have water available to wash or run your boat"?
There would be a restroom on site but no water available to rinse or run boats.

I've used the same boat storage for 20 years. It doesn't have water. However, it must have electricity.

As my 18 foot OD army green Lowe Roughneck looks better with some dirt on it; no problem.
Also agree with electricity being a must.

Oh yes. It would absolutely have electricity. Each bay would have at least one plug and a light inside.

There would be a restroom on site but no water available to rinse or run boats. Why a restroom but no water? Is the concern too much wasted water? I agree with the others it’s not a deal breaker for most customers

After the office closes/or before it opens, I am not aware of an available rest room at the storage facility I utilize. I may or may not have seen others ducking behind a wall for about three minutes out of view of the cameras from time to time.

I would drop the bathroom, water is not a big deal either. mine at fork has no water. bathroom will get trashed often, people will leave the water on (they don't have to pay the bill). 1. location 2. security 3. electricity all you need ^ ^ ^ ^

There would be a restroom on site but no water available to rinse or run boats. You wash the boat before you park the boat in the storage facility. Its called a car wash. You run the boat when you are on the lake.

Thanks for the replies. I have fished salt water most of my life where running the motor and washing the boat after use is a must. So I was wondering if it was necessary for freshwater.
I figured if a wash station isn't necessary then I'll skip that expense. Figured a bathroom would be nice especially for kids and ladies. I guess if it gets trashed I can always lock it up.
