 Trout and Flounder this morning

Took Son and one of his buddies fishing this morning in Port Aransas, got rained on the whole time. Did really well on trout and flounder, got some doormat sized flounder. Of course we didn’t keep the flounder ‘cause the Texas flounder season is closed 1 Nov-18 Dec.
Don’t know if many people know about the season closure.

Thanks for the report. We’re currently at Goose Island backed up to the bay. It’s been slow going here since we got here last week. Hopefully conditions will improve this week.
