Last month, it was tough for myself and some buddies who went flounder fishing in Galveston/Bolivar area. Last year in October, I caught keepers every time I went. I know it has been quite warm lately with a tease of cool weather but hopefully it cools down this month. Do you think we'll have a late run by December 15th?

😲👍 Interesting. Normally on off season I don't even jig until mid December. A buddy told me that last November, his couple of buddies were catch and releasing flounder and caught about 70 of them all day.
I've never experienced the "run" yet as this is my second year flounder fishing and season being closed during prime time but hope next month will be better.
