I’ve been on a 3 trips with Clark. During those trips, he said that receive information, which is saying they cheat. He said that he would never do that, but it came across as jealousy and bitterness.
I don’t know Ben, but I respect his use of social media, multimedia content, and his unique personality to build his brand. No matter if you like it or not, he has a brand and is known widely in this forum, on tour, and in the industry. I have no idea if Ben will make it on the Elites, but he qualified, which likely puts him in the top 5% of bass anglers.
Rheam made it but for some reason was not able to continue on the Elites after a few years. Looks like Rheam has fished FLW (mlf) and BASS for the better part of 21 years and has made an average of around $36K a year. If he was an hourly employee that would be around $12.82 an hour. It understandable why he would seem a little jealous of guys who have really made it in the fishing industry (Jacob Wheeler and Jason Christie) Though, he does have the "angler academy", but some do say those kind of schools are "snake oil". Milliken on the other hand is self made and is said to have a net worth somewhere in the 7-8 figure range. So he is a tad bit more successful in the fishing space and perhaps Milliken can go fish the tour without too many worries. It's easy to see why Rheam could be a tad bit "jealous". I mean this guy has fished as a "pro" for more than 20 years and MIlliken has already surpassed him in BASS wins in 9 total pro tournaments. It will be interesting to see Milliken's results in the next couple of years, since according to many "pros" he is just a "you-tuber".

He has almost 100,000 followers on Instagram, 500,000 YouTube subscribers, and I have no idea what he has on other platforms. What I know is that his social media accounts will pay more in 1 year than Clark has made in his entire professional career. Ben did it right, he has the financial backing from his social media accounts and sponsors, so he isn’t relying on his wife’s income to support his dream. Lots of good anglers out there without a plan, he had one and thus far, it’s working pretty well.

Milliken has given himself a shot at being successful by planning ahead and securing the necessary finances to just go fish. I see where Milliken will be teaching at the Bass University in Athens in January, maybe Rheam can attend the class and become better at his craft.

I know y'all are gonna bust my chops, but damn BoardPro, you and WLBDallas sure are stirring up a bunch of [censored] for guys with so few posts. Were y'all there and witnessed what went down? Gents there are two sides to every story. Let it rest guys.
Oh and yes I know Clark, fished with him once, see him at many events. I cannot judge BM, only see him on YouTube. But again, let it go life is too short for all this [censored]. Maybe talk fishing or something.
Have a great rest of your day.

Have a great rest of your day. I don’t know Ben. I’ve watched some of his videos. The one where he teaches these little boys how to tie a knot and genuinely interacted with them in a neighborhood creek, tells me he’s a decent guy. I’m not saying Clark isn’t a decent guy, but he’s accused Jacob Wheeler, Jason Christie, and other top anglers of cheating. Clark is a good club angler compared to Wheeler and that may be too generous.

I don’t watch pro bass fishing in any form on any format. I haven’t even watched a fishing show since Barry Stokes came on Ch 11 on Saturday nights around 11pm or something like that. I have fished a few tournaments in my time though.
I have been watching these 2 threads just out of curiosity and for entertainment . They both have been fairly entertaining. I see a lot of people coming on here making strong comments while posting behind anonymous screen names and some prolly behind double fake accounts. It seems a few people here like posting just to stir the pot for clicks too. I guess that’s the way world is these days.
At least Clark Rheem came on here with his side of the story and showed up with facts and on a real account. I can appreciate that a great deal.

I was thinking they were the same guy with multiple accounts. Like that one bozo that used to be here and he’d talk to his alternate account, about what a great post he had just made.

Don’t be soured on tournament fishing. While these sort of issues get all the clicks, most tournaments that us regular guys get to fish go off without a hitch and are fun competitions.
