Man everyone should just meet up and make it all good. Life is too short to have all this negative energy.

Thanks for posting Clark, good to see/hear the other side. Not a BM hater, but have voiced my displeasure of his clickbait style a couple times over the past year or two. Heck of a fisherman no doubt, but as others have stated, some of the "antics" for lack of a better work might not play out too well on the Elites. And Logan Parks is already on the "watchlist" due to his questionable tournaments with Tucker Smith as well. Look forward to seeing more from your Academy Channel soon!

Mr. Reehm, I gotta tell you that it's refreshing to get the rest of the story. I would hope to hear you cross paths with Ben down the road, and he makes it right Only time will tell how it will end up. I haven't fished anything like you are fishing, just the peon tournament trails. I quit fishing tournaments over 20 years ago because It became something that I did not enjoy anymore. (Or because I prob sucked). So I just fish now, and will do an occasional local fun tournament with someone. Stress really elevates in tournaments, and can make you do things you never consider. I have been following Ben, and truly hope he man's up and does the right thing. I know allot of this kind of stuff is heavily edited by someone other than Ben, but he does have to sign off on it. Anyhoo, God Bless you and your family. Hope you have a good safe time out there chasing the green fish. Only thing I would say to you is, stop by the forum more often. It was a pleasure reading your info. It was nice reading something other than the typical (beating a dead horse), or (toxic) threads. I'm going to keep an eye on you, and see what I can find to follow your path. Always like hearing from the big guns their opinion, and breakdowns of the tournaments. All

Clark, I've been a fan of yours since your beginning and have probably even met you a couple of times. I know almost absolutely nothing about Ben Miliken other than I know he is a You Tube personality and I've watched one video he's made on some lake down around the Tyler area. I've notice; not in just bass fishing but in almost any category, on You Tube the videos are becoming more and more into the click bait way of doing things, of course that is all being driven by money. Admittedly I didn't know anything about this happening until I read this post. Just glad you came one here and straightened things out. You'll always have my respect and admiration. Miliken, not so much.

I think what bothers me the most is how Clark says the video was edited or changed to show him at fault. We've all seen or heard about this in other walks of life. And there is also always 3 sides to every story. I guess we just have to wait and see if Ben decides to tell us his side of the story. I do have to give credit to Clarke for the classy reply.

I've never understood this thought among some bass fisherman that you have to succeed a spot that we both found in practice just because one angler had a better boat draw on day one. It's stupid. Now if you are just potlicking the spot because you saw someone catching them there......completely different story. If I found the spot fair and square just like you, and I beat you to it. I'm fishing it. My goal on day 2 is to flip the script and be the one who has a good day. The flip side to that is when you beat me there, I'm moving on. I will cause no drama. I will just be smart enough to know that this is the game and move on. Ben is a great fisherman, but all you have to do is look through the titles of his youtube videos to see that he is a clickbait master. People are attracted to drama unfortunately. Sucks for Clark that he got caught up in the high school drama.

I guess I don't understand this supposed brouhaha... This happens everyday and in every tournament... No one owns anything on the water other than your boat and equipment... So get over yourselves... If you wanna honor the "unwritten rules" good for you, if you don't it'll come back and bite you one day... Seems to be a generational thing... Dan

I work for a living therefore I choose not to gamble but appreciate the offer. I never said he was not a good fisherman. I recognize he is not 'just a YouTube' fisherman. He has shown some diversity but he did show he was human in the Opens too. Granted those were 200 boat fields. It will be interesting to see it unfold. He has stated his family will be traveling with him. Many do but typically not their freshman year on tour. That will be an added mental distraction for him on top of venues he has never been to previously.

I’ve been on a 3 trips with Clark. During those trips, he said that Jacob Wheeler and Jason Christie receive information, which is saying they cheat. He said that he would never do that, but it came across as jealousy and bitterness.
I don’t know Ben, but I respect his use of social media, multimedia content, and his unique personality to build his brand. No matter if you like it or not, he has a brand and is known widely in this forum, on tour, and in the industry. I have no idea if Ben will make it on the Elites, but he qualified, which likely puts him in the top 5% of bass anglers.
