Neighbor Graham and I fished Tawakoni from 8 AM to 5:10 PM and caught 245: 200 white bass, 25 legal hybrids, 12 short hybrids, a 29 inch striper, 5 yellow bass, a cat, and a drum. The day started fast at the dam with a large area of surface schooling fish. Birds were there and 4 or 5 guide boats. We followed the birds/fish for about three and a half hours. When that panned out we began structure fishing catching fish at Wolf Humps, the west shoreline between Wolf Humps and the state park, Finger Point, and Figure Eight Hump. Wolf was the best as we left still catching them there. The best lure for the surfacing fish was a 2/5 oz Little Cleo, and the best lure for structure fishing was a Panther Martin spinner. We also caught fish on Mepps #4 and BoBlades. Here are some pictures:
