I use to live down near Corpus and we would go to a pier that had lights on the end at night. We used some little jigs that had the little white trout worm like soft plastic that glowed some and we caught mot of trout up to a little over 8 pounds. If my memory serves me they were not any bigger lead heads and the hook was not much different other than it was probably some other finish. They came as a double drop type rig.

I try to keep the Glow Jigs at a 1/16 oz. max for a lot of reasons. They would cost more for sure. I don't know if I want to go there, but I will give it some thought.

Awesome jigs you make!!! I'm going to send your url to a bunch of my buddies. I'll bet Crappie will just eat 'em up in the Spring.
