can you give a few details as to a general location of brushpiles unless they are your own little stash. I haven't seen a stringer like that come off of Hubbard in a while. Although I haven't been fishing in a while either.

Hubbard is close to the house and to put some fish like that in the skillet like that would be tasty. Living off of Texoma striper right now.

Any general information would be great.

Thanks

Poppa?
Are these coming form the 16-22ft. depth range? That depth seems to be the ticket on Lavon right know but I sure would rather find them closer to home. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Nice catch thumb POPPA!!! Brush piles seem to be the ticket right now, for sure. I haven't caught crappie off of bridge pilings, which are usually pretty productive this time of year. Jigs have been the best, on the fall, 15'-22' of water, suspended between 10'-18', over brush or condos. Got ny first crappie yesterday off of my 7-day old crappie condominium complex, down here @ RC. You get those on jigs?

That is the punk that out fished me 3-1!!!!!! 18-20 ft on brush piles we put out last winter. Most were caught on minners but they hit jigs as well. BTW went back today and the bite was'nt as good although wasn't all that bad.

Now,tell us how many times have you been out there
and not caught any fish. Ray hubbard is a hard place to catch a mess of fish anytime for me. Still a nice lake to putt around on looking for brush piles someone else has put out.
Still a nice job of catching a mess.
