I have a skeeter zr21 it came with leaning post seats. I have a bad knee so i recently purchased a front seat. It is nearly impossible to work the trolling motor from this position. (but seated and 90 degree and slightly forward foot control well. I bought a 5'' offset post it didn't help . The same problem exists, and the seat keeps swiveling back.. Can you lean the floor control so that this is more accessible? I have the remote, but have not been able to use it yet.. I can't get it to charge so far..
Problem 2 ... I have Garmin live scope on the boat. It came as do a lot of Skeeters with the transducer mounted to the trolling motor shaft. You aim it with the cable that connects to it and swivels the transducer around. It is difficult to see the arrow pointing to where the transducer is pointed. I can't seem to get the picture that I need for crappie fishing . I sure don't see the lure drop etc. Is there a separate control arm /mount that I might be better off??? or do I just need to practice?

one knee replaced and the other fading fast, I use a tall pedestal with a butt seat to sit on. takes pressure off the knees and I can run the tm just fine.

the livescope, they make a shaft mount for them (multiple mfrs.) you just have to look, start on any crappie sites you use.

I added a one-by piece of plywood to the front of the foot control..
Like hopalong, I use a short pole butt seat to mostly sit on ..
At 82 years old, ya gotta adjust
