I have a question for those who replace their electronics but not their boats.
What do you do with your old electronics? I have a bunch of them around and don't just want to throw them in the trash so I thought I would check with y'all and see what you do.

Thanks

Put them up for sale in the classified section on here. Or give them away.

Donate them to high school angler's or their boat captains that don't have the quality of units you have.

There may be some kayakers that would be interested in them.

Thanks for the suggestions. I have tried to sell some in the past basically giving them away price wise without any takers. As far as the HS anglers, I've been trying to donate some rods and baits to the groups and can't even get takes there since the rods aren't the $300 variety.

I guess I'll talk to a local recycle center and see how to dispose of them and keep them out of the land fill.

Tight lines my friends

You're going to laugh at me, but I had a paper graph, and OLD Eagle 1 paper graph and rolls of paper in the basement for years. I threw it away less than 6 months ago. I then went fishing with a friend at his cabin and he had a very early Lowrance flasher on a shelf in his fishing shack. Then the light bulb went on: I should have kept that paper graph for my fishing cabin. Tell me, how many 20 somethings have ever even seen one? It would have been a cool thing to put in the fishing shack.

Had several Lowrance paper graphs in the day. They generated the best fish images ever. thumb
