We fully intended to go but that wind forecast changed my mind. Made my back hurt just thinking about running the lake in that wind for 5 days.

I hate that lake and if I never see it again it will be too soon.

It's like toledo bend light. You can get some where and may not be able to get back if you weren't paying attention to the forecast.

Oh, I've left my boat over night out there before. It was blowing 40 gusting to 62 that day.

I talked to Pake today and he said there were some nice sized rollers out there today. I pray everyone's equipment holds out! Should be some good stringers weighed in Saturday and Sunday!

Surely they are going to change it to a trailering event, if not there could be quite a rodeo. I have not checked the wind forecast but someone told me 20 - 30.
