What's the best place to launch on the east side of Lavon right now? I don't want my stuff vandalized and want to make sure I can launch with the water being 5 feet low. Thanks.

Collin Park is the best bet depending on the wind. It's getting kind of sketchy with the water low.

I went to Lavonia. The crappie didn't bite too well for me that day. Maybe it will be better when the water cools a little more.

Just made a trip out of Collin park.

Collin park has to be to worst ramp I've ever been to.

They charge for everything. Persons, truck and boat.

The attendant was the rudest person on the lake.

The ramp is in disrepair with the lake level so low. My 17' trailer went off the end.

The courtesy dock is on the other side of a tire wall in the marina area.

If beaching your boat, better get read to get your feet wet.

Don't get me started on the speed boats just outside the no wake zone
