So, anyone familiar with the cheating issues on Bass Champs this previous year... Todd Castledine and Andrew Upshaw touched on it during there recent Bass Angler Therapy podcase, but didn't go into any details. With the big Walleye Trail issues earlier this year, Boss of the Lake/Tucker Smith on Eufaula, and all the MLF mess on Cayuga... I don't recall hearing anything about Bass Champs.

There was the guys who started too early by dropping TM with livescope running during a trailering event on Toledo Bend, but that seems more like an accident vs. actual cheating

Starts around 8:20 mark

Sounded like it was the big bass event. Maybe the couple that had won several times out of the pontoon?

They said a couple so that sounds right.

I ho estl6 don't understand these vague references to cheating. None names and events or don't bring it up. All you do is give a good tournament organization and tournament fishing a bad look when you do that stuff. Both of those guys put out good content but this is a miss.

If you let a pontoon boat beat a bunch of bass boats with those BA 250'S, well I wouldn't let anyone know that. boxing

I couldn't care less about tournament fishing... BUT you are correct.

Throwing shade like that but not bringing details and some corroborating evidence or information is what we used to call, "a bit*h move".

Click bait is the only thing I can come up with. Throw some cheating allegations out there to generate views.

dropping a tm with livescope on? really? how could that possibly be cheating?

if they claim it was too early it was probably still around dark thirty, you're not supposed to drop tm till first cast or what?

big time confused here. my force drops and the livescope is on, all automatic.

Apparently you must be a cheater. We should partner up at the next OT tournament. I will bring the gizzard shad and waterdogs

Graphing for fish, before first cast, is against the rules. You may, however, graph depth as it is a safety requirement.

At least that’s how I understand the intent of the rule.
