Friend Graham and I joined filet maker Pat and SeaPro Todd in Todd's boat for a day of fishing on Lake Tawakoni. We fished from 9 AM til about 5:30 PM and caught 342 fish: 320 white bass, 2 legal hybrids, 8 shorts, 7 cats, and 5 yellow bass. The best lure was the smallest yellow BoBlade with silver tail-spinner. The best spots were Wolf Humps, Cloud Point, and Greenville Pump Station. We found many at Sun Point, but they would not bite. The BoBlade worked best using the sawtooth method. At each spot we had to try different speeds of retrieval to see what worked best. Todd tested a lot of his lure creations and discovered 2 or 3 that worked well. Todd is going to add pictures to this post.

I can't believe how much the water temps have risen in the past week. Did y'all happen to notice the grass mats (or whatever it is) floating in the lake with dead fish in it? I saw quite a few of them

I didn't notice them.
