Can I use something other than “Green Marine” fluid in my power pole blades? I have heard that ATF is ok….just want to hear someone that has put something else in there and it be ok.

Hydraulic fluid but make sure you flush it first. Doesn’t mix well with the organic stuff.

Steez, No to ATF... but you can use any iso32 dino oil which is much less costly than Green Fluid, less than$20 per gallon at HD, Lowes, etc. As stated you'll need to do some flushing to get as much green juice out as you can... as reported on TOF typically draining the pump reservoir completely, then fill with dino oil, cycle the poles a bunch and then drain resevoir again and refill. Should get most of the green stuff out as reported by the PP folks. I would likely do it twice since the oil is so cheap. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Powercare-AW-ISO-32-1-Gal-Hydraulic-Oil-66783/206522259
