Man crush?

Family is everything!

Life is precious. We don’t have forever. We have now. This moment. We can choose to love our lives now.

A few good songs, but nothing worthwhile in the last 35-40 years. At least not that I've heard.

Pretty normal Rick...the dude was a 70s -80s rocker...why would they do new stuff and sound lame when they can play a concert jammin to the stuff they put out in their prime?

Who really has continued to deliver new music for more than 20 years lately in the rock and roll scene? I am seriously interested in understanding this one...I love music.

My list who has done this:

Santana...because he is a guitar seducer

Who else?

A lot of the old thrashers are still pumping out solid stuff
Just in the last decade.
Slayer-Repentless
Overkill-Scorched
Exodus-Persona Non Grata(which IMO is their best work to date)
Metallica-Hardwired was pretty solid. New one not so much
Megadeth-don't remember the album title
Death Angel -Humanacide
Testament just wrapped up a massive tour and headed back to the studio. There isn't a Testament album I haven't liked.
Billy Gibbons is always popping up as guest appearances various albums.
If a bunch of old thrash metal bands can still do it. So could the old rockers.
Also the latest Queensyche and Accept got pretty good reviews from the masses.
In the UK there has been a large classic rock revival with newer bands. The demand is still out there. People have grown tired of a lot of Nu Metal and bro metal like FFDP
Those are just the ones off the top of my head. There's also been several super group collaborations of old rockers.
I don't hate Ted. Seen him 12 times. But he is only still relevant for his political views, not his music. If his fingers still worked like the used to. He could probably do well.

He only had MAYBE two songs worth a damn. What’s he gonna do? Play both of em…then call it a night? roflmao

Ted is far more important these days as a gun rights advocate than he EVER was as a singer.

I respect him for NOT trying to write more music. He knows he sucked
