In an effort to make it somewhat easier to sign up we we've made a modified website for membership and registration:

Texas BASS Nation youth and high school schedules are posted. This is for 2nd grade thru high school. Two man teams. This is the road for high school kids to qualify for the Bassmaster National Championship. They can qualify on a regional level and at the state level. All kids must be a part of a BASS Nation Club. Kids are eligible to fish one or all regions. Eighth graders can declare as youth or high school.

https://texasbassnationyouth.org/registration/

Winners checks will be written on site to the kids. We are all volunteers here and if you’d like to get involved we can use more volunteers.

The northeast division will have a Forrest D Caldwell Memorial Big Bass of the Season Award of $500.

First tournament is Oct. 8th on Lewisville. (yes, it is the only tournament on the schedule for Sunday due to HS kids who play football)

Qualifying tournaments will pay a minimum of $1,000 for 1st place. Checks will be written to the kids at weigh-in.

Northeast Division will be paying a Forrest D Caldwell Memorial Big Bass of the Year Award of $500.

There will be numbered take-offs at safe light. Team numbers will be posted and emailed after 12:30p the day before the tournament per rules. There will be no last minute registrations accepted on site.
National BASS Nation HS Championship spots will be awarded thru Team of the Year points, the regional championship and at the state championship.

Academy Sports & Outdoors is one of our main sponsors this year. We do not require preregistration the evening before the tournaments but instead we will be drawing for prizes at each tournament including $200 Academy gift cards. With proof of receipts dated between tournament dates each competitor will receive one entry for every $25 spent at Academy.

Yessir, but I seriously doubt we will get anywhere close to that anytime soon. Plus if we did we would be splitting the division in half so I welcome all the teams we can get. I look forward to being able to split the division.

Per BASS Nation rules registration cut off is at 12:30pm the day before the tournament. Boat numbers will be emailed and posted on our Facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61551001925430

WE HAVE NUMBERED TAKE-OFFS.
For Lewisville please be ready to take off by 7:00am. We suggest using the take-off site ramp but not required as long as you are at take-off and available for inspection before numbers are called.

Take-off is at safelight. Take-off and check-in is the same location.

Safety is our number one priority. Check-in is mandatory by 3:00pm. There is a one pound penalty per minute up to 15 minutes then you are disqualified. If we do not get a check-in from you we will come looking for you. We will start by calling the captain.

Running lights must be on and functioning. If there is an issue come talk to us, you will be held up until safe enough to run without lights.

Kill switch must be hooked up and functioning. Life jackets secured and everyone sitting down in seats for on-plane seating (nobody on the decks) when big motor is running, period.

All species of bass is minimum length limit of 14 inches. We swipe the tail, no pinch. Short fish penalty is one pound and loss of the fish. There will be a courtesy exact bump board available to check your fish before submittal.

5 fish limit per team/boat.

Dead fish penalty is half a pound.

Captains cannot fish. They can help run the trolling motor, net, cull or anything to do with the process. If a captain helps unsnag or pick out a backlash that cast is immediately dead and any fish caught on that cast cannot count.
