Put a new net in the boat this past weekend and had a heck of a time removing a jerkbait after a catch.Anyone have a known recommendation?

Any of those with the more rubbery net material will work to avoid the treble hook issue--usually.

When dealing with crankbaits / jerkbaits, it's the nature of the beast. I found that the Frabill nets are tightly wound and reduce net snags.

Any of the rubber/silicone nets will do well and not get snagged. You'll need to untangle the hook, but not like a traditional woven net.

egofishing.com Kryptek ones are my favorite for bass. They're very light as well if you're netting your own fish.

I was checking these out,I’m leaning toward a net with larger holes.I just used a new net with small holes and ending up cutting up the net to remove my jerkbait hooks during a tournament

Needed a quick replacement and bought one of those Bass Pro rubber coated nylon nets and the hooks get hung in it every time I catch a fish and sometimes they are a pain to get out. I’d stay away from these unless you are in a pinch.
Tight lines and God bless.

I think the coating on mine is to thin. Often times the hook barb goes right through the coating into the nylon and then it’s a booger to get out.
