So does anyone know the whole story yet? Latta said Kyle posted about the importance of a safety strap, that makes me think that the winch strap broke.

I also thought the winch strap was broken. I would think that would keep it on the trailer.

I would think any one of the three straps would have kept the boat on the trailer. Must have “broke” all three! roflmao

Thought I saw where he said something in main winch failed. Not sure if the teeth backed out or strap came undone. He then put out a video of the importance of the safety strap and using it as a back up.

Bass fishing and the egos that come with it are incredible. Enjoy being miserable behind your little screen.

Could not agree more!

Wishing misery on someone else tells a lot about a person.

all it takes is someone to start talking to you as you are getting the boat ready (to launch or get on the road) to get you sidetracked and forget to do something. i,ve tried to launch my boat more than a couple of times with one or both of the straps still on the back or the motor totor still on installed because someone wanted to come and talk to me for 10 minutes as i'm getting things ready...

You good bud? Did I hurt your feelings? Let me give you the definition of a forum.

Online Forum: an internet space structured around and dedicated to conversation, usually through posting questions, answers, and responses.

I posted my opinion. Get over it. You don't like my opinion skip over it and move along to the next. If he didn't want backlash, then maybe he should have kept it off facebook. Pretty simple. Boats don't just fly off the trailer when strapped properly, and that's not an opinion. He may be a good fisherman, but his carelessness coud have cost someone else their lives potentially.

This is the internet and I’m entitled to rip people. I’ll use any chance I get to tear them down. Deal with it.

Yeah, a lot of people use the internet to do that. They know if they do it to someone's face they'll get tore down.

This is the internet and if I don't like what someone says I am entitled to cry about it. We all have to agree with one another and we can't call irresponsible people out in hopes that a lesson is learned. You don't want to get called out, don't post on fb. Pretty simple. And before you guys get butt hurt, I am a coach, so I know a little something about being constantly judged. Suck it up.
