Fished for a few hours Saturday. Went to my fall routine just to see if any fish were showing up. They had some positive signs! I’m seeing very spread out splashes with tiny bait fish avoiding the hybrids. For about 20 min the hybrids grouped up and put on a show. Of course all the boats ran up on them and pushed them down. Lots of fish hanging around and we’re biting BoBlades over everything. We need some cold fronts and it’ll be on!

Fished saturday as well probably the same area. We saw the boat show north of us, but avoided the crowds, also saw decent surface activity, only caught 6 legal hybrids on slabs, we didn't have bo blades.

Yea it doesn’t take long for the boat show to happen. I only jig slabs in the spring time. Pretty much have swapped to boblades year round now. They work when slabs struggle. I’m in a navy blue sea fox boat. Swing by and say hello @sirdukeoflor.
