When I was kid I remember driving out to the farm with my great grandpa. He always wore a dirty old cap. I told him “ Pop Pop you need a new cap”. He said boy I worked hard for this cap. I didn’t understand it then but I do now. I like my dirty old caps

I only have a few left, I really don’t wear one anymore unless I’m playing golf. I tossed about 50 of them a few years ago.

hard work and grit

My caps last about 3 weeks. Hard work and grit take their toll in a major way in my line of work. Dishwasher and washing machine don't quite turn the trick after about 2 weeks. If I get in some really bad Italian or Asian food grease, they're done for THAT DAY! The $5 flag caps from Academy aren't as painful on the Wallet.

yes, a professional baseball hat wearer since i was 6, in the later days the dishwasher has given several caps extra innings over the years...

I used to wear a hat daily when I worked construction. It helped keep the pencil behind my ear.

Can't put much stock in a article that calls a cap, a HAT!
