Starts Thursday. Lake Eufaula Oklahoma. Man it’s a bug lake! Crappie everywhere but no size that we can find. Somebody will find them. They always do. I enjoy the roller coaster ride of it all. Going to be a lot of 8-9 pound stringers I think. 1.30 seems to be a good fish right now. I’ve caught fish from 4-40’ FOW. Casting to them with a Jenko trick stick and an 1/8 oz Slab Syndicate hand tie. Color doesn’t seem to matter. Lots of Texas teams in this. Maybe one of us can bring the trophy home. Slew

Storming good here this morning. It’s supposed to be out of here by 8. They announced next years schedule last night. Sadly no trips to Texas. Looking forward to several of the lakes though. Back to Darbonne for the 2024 National championship. I like that lake. We were selected as sportsman of the year as well last night. the big fish will be shalla ...
COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !

Somehow managed to make the cut to day 3 in 49th place. We never found anything good. The folks on em are catching the fish deep on the main lake in 20-30 FOW. We’re fishing 12-16’ in the back of the creek. One more day and I get to go home! One more bog one at Grenada then start over next year.

Check line for AOY starts at 7th place and we were in 8th place starting this one! We needed to pick up 9 pointe to move to seventh and cash a check. We finished 42 and they finished 51st.
