Thinking of making some juglines from noodles. Just very hard to find. I generally fish for bass and don’t keep what I catch. Thinking of dropping out some free floating lines while I fish. Go back and check them through the day. Where would be a good place to set them out? Up river, main lake, coves? Wife said she likes fried catfish so I am gonna try and provide. Thanks

This time of year I like to set them in standing timber around 15 ft of water and let the breeze drift them threw the timber. 2cents

I put them out on main lake points in 8 to 12 ftw with deeper water close by. But i put weight on mine to keep them in the area.

On a side note, be sure to check Texas Parks rules if you're putting them in public water lines before you make them. Might save you a ticket or two.

If you are looking at making new juglines then you might consider my design…. here.

They can be rigged free floating or anchored.

We set 6 out from loafers bend Sunday. The wind was rough, they were almost to the state park in 2 hours. Picked up 1 nice blue to feed all 4 of us.

Utilize my Lynn's Catfish Calendar to assist in your catches. Also see the KEY posted in September, as it also has tips, such as learning to use Bleedover to catch more. Bass fisherman use it for catching Yellow. The Calendar is geared for Yellows, Blues, and Gator Gars.
