Well I follow you guys regularly but can't find the time to fish as much as you all do and am extremely jealous. I own a hardware store and mid size mini storage facility next door. At 60 years old and reading about you guys adventures is making me want to slow down. We are in the process of selling the storage facility and hoping that will let me get off my 6 day 70 hour weeks. We built a log house on Lake Buchanan a few years ago and are looking to retire there in the next few years. Right now it is used for mowing grass weekly. I just started taking two days off a week for the first time in 35 years so I may get a day to go fishing now if we can get some water back in the lake. 25' low and falling.
Tanks for letting me live through your adventures and glad to see Chris back on the board. I have never used planer boards and drifted for catfish but it is on the list.

Shannon, I like to eat ice cream too. I retired a year ago after 40 years of chasing storms and climbing poles (sort of) and moved close to two lakes. Both are less than 15 minuets. Axul retirement is the best life you can have. But when everyone's working it can be lonely.
I still chase storms, but they have to be big ones now.
