Nice day for fishing and not as many at the ramp. I was on fish three times but couldn’t stay on them.

I went out Friday as well. Two of us caught 16 but it was more of a struggle than 2-3 weeks ago.

I bought it through Amazon and really like it.

The dealer mounted the motor a little odd because they couldn’t listen very well
I did show them pics of one motor mounted but that didn’t help either. I had to do some looking to find it but glad I did.

I use artificial. A slab with a homemade fly above

Sure thing. I buy the slabs from MT Pockets on the forum here. I order slab only and put my own rings and hooks. I don’t like treble hooks because they get stuck in the net. I put these purchased flies on my slabs and you can tie one above the slab

Good report and info sharing, John Z71. Thanks. I will move my boat to the big pond in November.

I make the flies in the picture. I did put a link to some flies that that can be found on Amazon. I use the Amazon flies for my slabs but the homemade flies to tie about the slab

I tie a 5/0 as seen in the pic. Order from Walmart because I couldn’t find what I need in the tackle stores or on the shelf. These are heavy duty hooks. Normal hooks will bend if you get 2 big fish on at the same time
