So they did not show the slo mo replay of the injury last night. Of course , it is out there if you want to search for it. It is gruesome indeed. The knee was not meant to bend in that direction. If you are running south , the knee is not supposed to swing to the east.

Sounds like it's season ending but not career ending from what was reported earlier. Hope ge is back at it. He's old school.

Reminded me of Blaine Irby's injury in 2008. To borrow the analogy..... He was running south and when hit his knee went north. Took three years but he made it back on the field. Clicky (no video)<snip> The ACL, LCL, meniscus, cartilage, articular cartilage and muscle tendons were shredded. Most significantly the peroneal nerve was damaged.

While I truly hate the Clowns, I'd never, ever, never wish or cheer for an injury to anyone (maybe the helmet swinger and the handsy Chester Molester of a Qb) on that team... I hope he returns to form next season... Dan

I saw this one on TV, was terrible. He rehabed, came back, and continued as a great running back.
Willis MaGahee In the early part of the fourth quarter during the 2003 Fiesta Bowl National Championship Game, McGahee suffered an injury after catching a screen pass from Dorsey. He was immediately hit by Buckeye safety Will Allen, turning his left knee into a swivel joint and causing tears of the ACL, PCL, and MCL.

That is what happened to me, my knee was at a right angle, it was sideways, partially crippled, that is why I can never watch those injuries on TV, brings back some bad memories. Really like Chub, sure hope he makes it back, always seemed like a classy player.

I really feel for Nick. He is from my hometown. He played HS ball where l played HS ball with a relative of his, Larry. The Chubb's are awesome people. The extended family owned a lot of land just outside city limits...farmed it for yrs. Salt of the Earth folk. The younger generations have been slowly selling it off unfortunately. Nick's first knee injury was just as horrible as this one. If anyone can rehab & return, Nick can. You'll hardly hear talks of contract negotiations involving him. He simply loves the game of football.

Seen plenty of them over the years, they all end the same way. Just glad I didn't have him in my fantasy PPR league, went Kelce instead.
