Benbrook is 10 mins away but is way too low to launch. I could go to Lake Arlington or Joe Pool but just can't decide. Should I flip a coin between Aquilla or NM?

Navarro Mills. Aquilla is full of small crappie and small white bass everywhere. Fish a brushpile and you may be able to get one or two crappie bites before the whites move in. From there its over.

Life journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved state.
But rather skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "holy carp what a ride!"

Aquilla is pretty low to. Be careful if you go.

If I had to choose I'd go to NM. I miss both of those lakes.

How low can Aquilla get and still launch a boat pretty easily? It's showing just over 5ft low now.

Launched a 19xb there yesterday, have to beach the boat but avoid the unseen rocks close to shore. Lake is low but I don't know what level makes the ramps unusable. Went to NM a few days back and it is also about where it was last year but can still utilize a courtesy dock.

You can use the dock at Navarro Mills, but be careful it is very shallow over there.

Captain, I would fish Navarro Mills, it seems to hold its lake level much better than Aquilla, especially in dry years. Either way, just be careful in the stump fields when the water is low…I have been hung up for a while on both, in smaller shallow water boats, on both lakes…not much fun, when your objective was to catch fish. Good luck!
