He's tied with half the league at 12th for TDs, 21st in yards, middle of the pack in most other stats including completions, passer rating, etc., near the bottom in yards per attempt

His only important stat right now is 0 INTs, and he's lucky to have that with the one the Jet's cornerback dropped.

He's always been a good regular season QB...until last season anyway. His problem is he can't win big games. He seems to be taking the turnover discussion seriously...but his defense is so dang good that he doesn't really have to push anything right now.

Well Dak was the sole reason they didn't make the NFC championship last season. Pretending QB isn't the most critical position is willful ignorance.

The more important cherry-picked stat for the weak, or week, is the opposing QBR for QB's throwing at Trevon Diggs is 1 (that's a one as in uno). Of course we'll wait for a season ending stat and I do realize football is a team sport so the D line deserves some kudos for Diggs success..

To put the above stat into perspective if the QB throws the football into the dirt every passing attempt he would still have a QBR of 39.6.

I didn’t cherry pick it, I just saw it on ESPN. But most analyst agree if you do pick one stat to evaluate a QB, it is QBR, that is why they created it.

Dak seems much more at ease with what he's being asked to do in this offense. His check downs have been spot on. So, I have been disappointed in Dak's performance in the past but I'm learning (yes, I'm old and not as sharp as I have been in the past) that the offense, coaching, and play calling are having a huge impact on Dak's performance. Sure, he almost threw a pick 6 but that was one bad throw out of 38. He was 31/38 for 255 with zero interceptions and 2 TD's.

That's more than pretty good. I'm actually dreading reading some of the BS on his first int of the year I'll see posted from a couple of folks here. I'll not argue with them. A couple of them are trolls and a couple are influenced by media and other BS. Josh Allen is loved by the press but had more turnovers than Dak last year.

The analyst's are leading you right into it.

I hope that Dak proves me wrong about his talent. He can be great reg season, but statistics also prove that Dak cannot win the most important games. Maybe this west coast offense will make him better with a lesser chance of critical mistakes because I know their stellar defense could bring them to the promised land. Not later, but this year. Sooooopa or Pooopa…….which way you going, Dak?
