Grass is just about toast, shrubs gasping, and Lord bless us for two days with several hours of rain each day. Lawn mowers are making the rounds for searching weekend cuts.  Even the artificials saw a new sheen instead of dust factor.

It's 4:40 Sat. afternoon and we are hearing thunder in distance and dark clouds are approaching.
My yard is actually tinting green again.
Sorry to see the car washes close but they needed some R&R.

Got a little over 4” in the past few days. Back yard looks like a jungle. Gonna have to dry out for a few days before I can mow. Still not enough to put a dent in our local lake though.
