Baseball is not over. "Stros are heating up. Looks like a real good chance they're in the postseason again.

Well I got to give it to them. They were in first at allstar break and despite my prediction in a previous thread, it took a little longer this year to hit the bottom

I'm too tired to look it up, but I bet by the time the dust settles on this season the Rangers may have the largest collapse in the storied history of the game. I will bet anyone that wants to take it that they actually end up with a losing record.

I will bet anyone that wants to take it that they actually end up with a losing record. That doesn't seem likely. They only have to go 5-18 to finish at .500 for the season.

From August 30th last year to the end of the year we won 13 games. As of now we have won 5 games this year until today. We have 22 games left. Can we win 8 games in the next 22 game to better what we did last year in the same time frame. With all the extra millions we have spent, and the talent we gave up? We need 9 out of 22 to better last years wins in the same time frame. I do not see that happening. We are on pace to be a sub 500 team again after being 20 plus over a couple times. Looks like we may be a 76 86 team. Heads should roll but they won’t Bochy might retire again.

"It ain't over till it's over." Yogi Berra
Berra first uttered the phrase about the 1973 National League pennant race. The Yankees were a long way behind when he said it, and they did eventually rally to win the division title.
I still have faith!

We went and watched them 2 times at the end of the season last year for the first time since the early 90`s and they lost both games. They were terrible but it didn`t bother me to much since I don`t really get caught up with it that much. I just hear if they`re doing bad or good on the news. This year I have kept up with them daily and they have gone to $hit in a hand basket. Going to save my $$$ this year and not donate to a losing cause. They can`t blame the Texas heat anymore for their late season collapse either.

Stopped watching consistently after 2011...broke my heart when they let ron washington ruin the best rangers team ever. Worst in-game manager I've ever seen.
Stopped watching more when they let Nolan go.
Stopped watching even more when they got rid of the old stadium and built an echo-box.
No surprise they folded...that's what they do. Been doing it for 50 years. My dad always used to say he couldn't want to see the rangers finally win a world series....well he never did. The organization just sucks...letting Nolan go was stupid and they haven't and I fear they won't ever recover.
Maybe they can get ohtani...I want to be interested. I really like the rule changes to speed the game up...but they've broke my heart too many times to commit.
They've got more talent this year than they've had since 2011...maybe they can go on a late run and get back in it.

There’s still time and I hope they turn it around, but it doesn’t look too promising at the moment
