Wouldn’t recommend it. I did however use sassafras one time. It wasn’t bad at all.

I have one dead in my back yard. It’s not big but what it cost me I need to get something out of the deal. I’m not above cutting up firing the pit up to find out.

It is heavy wood. I cut one in my front yard and dropped a branch on my little toe. Not sure if I broke it but it was black and blue for a while.

Had one here at the new house. Cut the bastard down and burned it in the fire pit. It would have been to much work to cut it up and stuff it in the trash.
