Lake came up about 12" overnight but they do expect it to slow since the release from Canyon was lowered. There are plans are restocking in early spring and early summer.

The 12 inches surprised me (that's what she said) but I think it'll slow considerably once the lake gets high enough to start seeping into wells and filling the large flats currently out of water.

I wish they would stock sooner before the riverbed growth rots away

Water is coming up 2" per day. Just received a note on facebook all ramps (for boats) are closed until lake becomes near full. Boats can not be launched but Kayaks can.

We are probably 8 or so feet low until ramps will open for boats.

Maybe we will get some rain and expedite the process.....

Use to be a number you could call where they raise the fingerlings for re-stocking the lakes around here and Texas, but I can't find that number. They will tell you all planned restockings coming up.

The lake is down approximately 7'+. The lake has risen 5" per day the last two days. We will see if it continues. Drove over dry Comal and it was running from rain last weekend (I guess).

Haven't been watching true elevation but believe we are about 6' low. Water has not risen at all under 35 because the elevation change.

Sat and Sunday, water came up only 1" each day. Water was rising 4-5" per day from rain north of New Braunfels a week ago. Did not see the water before work today to see if we held any of the rain we received in the area last night. Hopefully, we will get some more rain this week.

Water looks good but very tannic looking (like tea).

I would have thought you would get jerked out of the boat with a frog on rising water but have only raised one fish in flooded grass but have really only fished around my dock.

Due to the on going drought and less water being released from Canyon Dam it is going to take longer than expected to get Dunlap back to it's normal level. We need a lot of RAIN this upcoming fall and winter! Glad to see the dam complete and Dunlap filling back up. thumb

Does this mean that the lake was filling up, then it dropped 7 feet?

The lake was down somewhere between 12-14' after the dam broke. The gates were raised and now it is only 6-7' low. Not filling fast at all now.
