Both N-Control and Land and Sea used to mfg./sell a dual action foot/hand control throttle assy. Mentioned on numerous internet articles, but after scouring the net I can't locate either. Sorry.

Some of the Manf's offer Electronic Shifting, that allows either. The Evinrude Etec was like that, and Mercury offers a system and probably Yamaha as well... More geared towards the salt market ie dual helms but they cand be ordered/installed on FW boats as well with appropriate hardware. They are of course quite a bit costlier than your standard cable throttle setup however.

Years ago a company (Land & Sea I think) offerred a cable system that was both hand and foot controlled, I had one on an old Winner 18ft Bass boat. IIRC it split the throttle cable and you could use either, but it was also very stiff to use due to dual cables/springs/etc.
