Had an ‘18 Raptor for a couple of years. Was fun at first but the novelty wears off quickly. Was a comfortable daily driver but sucks for towing. Squats like a pig just sitting on the tailgate and for a whopping 7mpg pulling a 20’ boat.

They have to charge these stupid prices for all their new I.C.E. vehicles to offset the massive losses that they are enduring on the EV side of it. Now the dealer marking it up should be charged with rape, but that's an argument for another time.

I can do a factory crate replacement with the coyote aluminator and built transmission/transfer case, have paint/body touched up for about 1/4 of what a new xlt like mine would cost.

All manufacturers prices have gone insane. I about had a heart attack when I paid $47000 for my f150 in 2017. I don't know what I'm gonna do next time around.

I had the same thought a while back. Bought a 2020 F-250 6.7 powerstroke crew cab FX4 last year for $42k. It had 90k miles, but it's now deleted (0hp tune - deleted only for reliability) and runs like a dream and gets silly good mpg. 10 speed tows next level good
