First boat. Three trips to Somerville lake and Skunked three times. Just gotta keep trying and learning. Any tips on spots or tactics? If you see a confused man in a cream tracker doing it all wrong thats me.

Oh great! email sent. While i have lived in central Texas since '97 - Texas Boat fishing is still new to me. I got it to try to give me 2 year old a Hobby we can share that doesn't involve him looking at a screen. Now he just loves the hummingbird.

I have so far tried to troll a pet spoon for hybrids/white bass (just picking random areas off the main creek channel/humps)

I tried to catfish around a 14 foot hump

I really want to learn how to snag these hybrids. They seem like a fun fight and good eat.

I tried to large mouth fish around the rocks on the North side of the dam. Saw a bunch of fishing surfacing but again no luck.
