Let's hear 'em.
Father-in-law and I saw a boa / python in Richland chambers that was in the top of a bush that went into the water and I swear, it took 35 seconds for that mofo to unravel. Snake had to have been 15'-18' feet long.
We both saw a giant alligator snapping turtle in the back of Birch at Fork that was beyond belief. I think a few people on this board have now seen that one over the years and that makes me look not as crazy when I think about that day and how big that turtle was.
What have ya'll seen?

What have ya'll seen? We saw this dinosaur of a snapping turtle up in Garrett Creek near Secret Cove one spring. The thing had to be 4 feet in diameter! It came up right next to the boat and looked around then went back under. As it swam it hit a tree about 6" in diameter and the tree shook like a car just bumped into it.

I took my wife up to Ray Bob midweek about 20 years ago to hit some sandbass action. Not too many people on the lake that day. We had put in at the marina but were up on the east Fork fishing and were headed in when we made the turn around the main point down near the dam. Saw a boat with what appeared to be no one in it. As I got near I slowed down a little to see if someone was in trouble. All of a sudden two heads popped up! They were gettin busy right out in the middle of the lake!! LOL. My wife couldn't believe it! Had I been by myself this may have turned into one of those Penthouse "this never happens to me" stories!

I'll catch it. I have no choice.
Turtles love me.
Big as a car? What does that mean? I gotta use visegrips to pull the hook while it's trying to bite my fingers off?
........
The only crazy thing I've seen are gar that are the size of sharks in the movies. Gigantic. Sometimes I wonder about boat stories to where people think that hit a tree stump with the lower unit. With nobody giving any thought to if it was some Mac-Daddy gar.

What have ya'll seen? Similarly, brother and I watched some type of boa / python swim across a cove toward us and into the edge of the reeds at Fairfield, went over close to get a look probably around 12’ long. Not a native whatever it was.

My dad and I were out fishing at Ray Bob back in Spring Creek we had 2 of the little 1 man plastic boats and just working around the cove. My dad had a rod over side trying to get cat fish, well he wasn't paying attention and over the side it went.. about 20min later I am work my way over to the same spot trying my luck for some bass using a Texas rig, I feel a bump and a fish take off with it start reeling and it felt super strange I get the fish up and was like "HAY he has a hook and some line in his mouth" pull the hooks out and start pulling in the line that was in his mouth.... you can guess what happened pops rig was attached to the other end and we got a solid 4lbs cat out of the deal.
Fishing Grapevine Lake last year I saw a diamondback water snake that had to be every bit of 5ft long never seen one that big till that day.

Fishing at Ray Hubbard once, I saw a water snake swimming with a catfish in it's mouth. The catfish must have been close to a foot long, and the snake was swimming with it's head what seemed to be a foot out of the water. Never seen anything like that before.

Lake Livingston, spring time, mid 80's when I was a teenager. Buddy of mine and I had a camp set up near palmetto creek and had set some trot lines out with live perch just before dark. About midnight, we go to check them in our 16 foot jon boat with a massive 12 volt 30 lb thrust troll motor ( It got on plane real fast) As I reach down beside the stump to grab the first line and lift it, my buddy shines the Q Beam down the line and the first 4 to 5 hooks was like something out of a horror film. Every hook I saw down that ray of Q Beam light had a 2-4 foot snake on it. Second line, same thing! Those lines never got touched again.
Everything on your bass boat is broken......You just don't know it yet.

Hell I prolly would’ve left that night never to even return to that area.

On Choke several years ago a huge doe was getting an early morning drink of water when a massive size gator decided to have breakfast. That big azz gator grabbed that doe right off the bank and the very short fight was on. That gator thrashed and chomped on that doe like it was his last meal. The sound of breaking bones and watching how much power that gator had was impressive. That was quite a show for us that morning. The gator was approximately fifteen feet long, no match for the doe.

In the early 90's I was fishing in Smith Creek (Monticello) I saw 3 big Dogs walking over the bridge, but noticed they had weird looking long tails. So I decided to pull out my binoculars and see them better, focusing in I got a good look. They were not Dogs they were Cougars (not the middle age female human kind either).
In order to catch Big Fish..Sometimes you gotta Suffer.
