TFF Team Angler S Joined: Dec 2010 Posts: 3,328 Houston TX	It's been HOT but with a little pre-trip planning enjoyable days on the water can be had and with some work nice sacks of crappie will supply some fresh tasty crappie filets.... Iced drinking water and a cooler of ice to put your crappie in, dressing with the proper clothing, a BIG umbrella is a giant help, getting a early start and making cool off runs will all make your day on the water a good day.... I've been fishing 10 to 16fow with good success but do know it is definitely a fineness bit so don't go thinking you're going to get no almost rod jerked out of your hand hits or thumps. Using light weight terminal tackle 1/64th or 1/32nd once jigs is what's working best.... If you want to go get a good mess of fresh tasty crappie filets for you and your family I have 2 days the end of this month and several days available next month.... Let's Go Crappie Catching!
